Discover the shared vision and explore the six priorities identified in Interior Health's (IH) 2025-2030 Toxic Drug Response Strategy in a series of new information sessions open to all IH staff. 

The Toxic Drug Response Strategy (TDRS) Talks, kicked off on May 28 and run through September, aim to help staff develop a greater understanding of the toxic drug crisis and our coordinated approach to addressing this health emergency. 

Hosted by the Toxic Drug Response Team, the session are virtual and run no more than 60 minutes.


TDRS Talks 2: Prevention and Promotion

This second presentation in the TDRS Talks series focuses is on Prevention and Promotion. This session explores how substance use risk factors are addressed at the individual, community, and population levels. Participants will also develop understanding on how protective factors are strengthened and key actions IH is taking to support Prevention and Promotion. There will also be an opportunity for questions.
